HOMEMADE CANAPES

Here are some stunning canapes to make when having a dinner party, that look complex but are really simple, glamourous and designed to impress.

• Salmon roulade with quail eggs and a sprout salad
• Fresh fig and blue cheese skewer
• Smoked salmon on pumpernickle with creme cheese and caper berries

RECIPE:

Ingredients:

2 slices pumpernickle bread

30ml cream cheese

50g smoked salmon

2 caper berries

Method:

• Cut the bread into discs with a cutter, spread the cream cheese then top with a ribbon of smoked salmon.
• Cut the caper berries into quarter and place one ontop. Garnish with a sprig of fennel and some cracked black pepper.
