ANYTHING SWEET

ANYTHING SWEET

I love anything sweet, no matter how full I am, I will always finish with something sweet. I know that for a dessert to be balanced and correct on the palate it has to have hot, cold, crispy, fruit and sauce elements to it but I had the most divine, SIMPLE dessert the other day that I just have to share because althought we always try to out-do our desserts, sometimes it the simple, uncomplicated ones we miss.

So the dessert I had was a frozen custard with crispy chocolate wafers and toasted almond nibs folded through that was once frozen removed and a sprinkle of brandy was drizzled over and lite.

The combination was hot and cold, with a hint of brandy and a chocolaty crisp running through it, so actually when thinking about it, it has all the components of a good dessert except the fruit. MMMMMMMMmmm Yum
